SleepWise is the only clinic in Melbourne, and regional Victoria, treating patients and training practitioners in the field of oral appliances and dental sleep medicine. The Sleep Medicine Dentists at SleepWise have treated over 21,000 patients since first established in 2001.
SleepWise provides a full range of Australian made, medically proven, state of the art oral appliances for the treatment of snoring and sleep apnoea. All our clinicians are members of the Australasian Sleep Association and the Australian Dental Association and work exclusively in the field of dental sleep medicine at SleepWise Clinic. Currently, most of our sleep medicine dentists have been awarded the Fellowship of Dental Sleep Medicine (FDSM).

Dr Ken Lee holds a Master’s in Dentistry and has extensive experience in private practice, with a particular focus on dental sleep medicine. He is a Fellow of Dental Sleep Medicine and serves as Co-Chair of the Dental Sleep Council of the Australasian Sleep Association, dedicating his efforts to improving outcomes for patients dealing with snoring and sleep apnoea through advanced, evidence-based approaches.
Whilst previously working with the Royal Flying Doctors Service, Dr Lee has contributed his skills to a wide range of communities. He values collaboration and works closely with sleep physicians and ENT specialists to provide comprehensive and individualised care for his patients.
Prioritising the well-being of his patients, Dr Lee delivers treatment with integrity, respect, comfort, and compassion. His unwavering dedication to enhancing the quality of life for his patients makes him a leader in the field of dental sleep medicine.
Dr Jeffrey Tho is a Fellow of The International College of Dentists and graduated with Honours from the University of Melbourne in 2013. He has supervised dental student research in the field of orthodontics and has been a pre-clinical demonstrator at The University of Melbourne since 2016.
While he still works as a general dentist in private practice, he has a particular interest in Dental Sleep Medicine. Dr Tho is passionate about using the latest evidence-based research and technologies to provide the most effective treatment for snoring and sleep apnoea. As sleep has such a significant impact on one’s health and well-being, he is always striving to achieve the best outcome possible for each and every patient.
Outside of dentistry, he has an MBA and was the former number 1 badminton player in Oceania having represented Australia at three Commonwealth Games, as both an athlete and as the Australian National Coach.
Dr Skilton graduated with honours from the School of Dentistry at the University of Western Australia in 2008. Since then, she has worked in public and private dental sectors and has a keen interest in sleep-disordered breathing, geriatric dentistry, and orthodontics.
Dr Skilton regularly attends international and local conferences to keep her at the forefront of her field. She enjoys spending time with her family and their dogs and appreciates the little things like a nice cup of tea and some chocolate.
She practices in a logical and empathetic manner and believes in educating and supporting clients to take control of their treatment. She enjoys working as part of the SleepWise team and collaborating with other medical and dental specialists in the management of snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea.
Graduating with a Masters of Dentistry, Dr Lim has since worked in both the public and private sectors. She greatly enjoys working with patients and helping them achieve their optimal health goals.
Having seen the positive impact oral appliances can make on patients with snoring and sleep apnoea, Dr Lim has undertaken further training in this field. She strongly believes in working in close collaboration with sleep physicians, Ear, Nose and Throat specialists and sleep psychologists to provide the most effective management of snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea.
Dr Patricia Hanna joined our team after previously working in the private and public sectors in rural and suburban clinics. Dr Hanna graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2011 and has since been involved in tutoring final-year dental students as well as completing her MRACDS.
Dr Hanna has a special interest in oral medicine and dental sleep medicine. Her aim is to provide the highest quality of care to her patients and to deliver treatment that is often life-changing.
Dr Hanna is a member of the Australian Dental Association and the Australasian Sleep Association and is soon to join the Fellowship of Dental Sleep Medicine.
Dr Jonti Nolan graduated from the University of Melbourne Dental School and worked in private practice before joining the SleepWise Clinic.
Jonti has completed comprehensive training in dental sleep medicine, has a special interest in Oral Medicine, and is dedicated to empowering patients with the knowledge and tools to improve their health.
Recognising that the effects of snoring and sleep apnoea can extend beyond health and influence patients’ work, relationships and well-being, Jonti takes a comprehensive and tailored approach to manage each patient’s individual needs to achieve optimal outcomes.
Outside of work, Jonti enjoys seeing live music, listening to community radio and learning about Australian birds.
Dr Edmund Kwong grew up in Melbourne and completed his dental degree at the University of Melbourne in 2015. He has also attained a membership in General Dental Practice at the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. Prior to joining SleepWise, he practised in the public and private sectors across Melbourne and was a clinical instructor for final-year dental students at the University of Melbourne.
Dr Kwong has a special interest in dental sleep medicine and enjoys the collaborative approach to managing snoring and sleep apnoea. He emphasises his practice on patient education as he believes his patients should have a sound awareness and understanding of their medical condition.
Outside of work, Dr Kwong is a long-distance runner, having completed over 20 marathons and several half-marathons. You can find him on the trails after work, preparing for the next race!
